・인솔에도 표기된 “SCIENTIFIC SHOE FITTING”이라는 문구에서도 알 수 있듯, 정형외과용 신발(의료용 교정화) 특유의 “비대칭적인 안쪽 직선·바깥쪽 아치” 형태를 지녔다.

・발바닥 아치 부분에서 발을 고정하고, 발가락 부분에는 여유 공간을 두어 스트레스 없는 착용감을 선사한다.

・여유 공간이 있는 신발이므로 발끝이 부딪히는 것이 없는 상태가 이상적이다.

・평소 신는 신발보다 발끝에 여유를 느끼면서도 발바닥 아치를 잡아주는 사이즈가 이상적입니다.

・현재는 거의 사용되지 않는 「가황 공정(Vulcanized製法)」을 채택하여, 스니커즈의 캔버스 소재 갑피와 고무 밑창을 바느질하지 않고 압착함으로써 맨발에 가까운 부드러운 착용감을 실현했습니다.

・준비물: 종이 측정 시트, 줄자, 펜, 상자 모양의 물건

１. 종이 측정 시트를 인쇄해 주세요(A4 용지에 '실제 크기'로 인쇄해 주세요. 인쇄 크기가 어긋나면 그대로 측정값이 어긋나게 됩니다.)

２. 종이 측정 시트의 'guide line'을 따라 골접기합니다.

３. 벽을 따라 상자 모양의 물건(책이나 잡지를 쌓아 대체 가능)을 놓고, 거기에 측정 시트의 골접기 부분을 맞춰 바닥에 테이프로 고정합니다.

4. 「가이드 라인」에 발뒤꿈치를 맞추고, 왼발이라면 왼발 안쪽을 세로 「가이드 라인」에 맞춥니다. 이때 발을 모으고 자연스러운 자세로 정면을 내려다보십시오. 발에서 가장 긴 부분이 가리키는 위치에 펜으로 표시를 해주세요. (발가락을 다치지 않도록 주의하십시오.) 그곳이 고객님의 발 길이입니다. 너무 앞으로 숙이거나 반대로 뒤로 체중이 실리면 잘못된 사이즈를 선택할 수 있습니다.

５. 마찬가지로 다른 쪽 발도 측정합니다. 대부분의 경우 발의 좌우 차이가 있기 때문입니다. 양발을 측정하여 긴 쪽의 사이즈를 선택해 주세요. 발 폭이나 발등 높이에 불안이 있으신 분은 반드시 문의해 주세요. 정면에서 사진을 찍어 문의하시는 것을 권장합니다. 발 폭, 발등에 따라 발길이로 표시된 사이즈보다 하프 사이즈 전후로 조정하는 것을 권장하는 경우도 있습니다.
